Some Great places for spiritual traveler in India

India is the country where various kinds of religions exist. Great diversity in culture, people and food is the real identity of India. From the tourism side, India has so many beautiful places like Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, kerala and many more. You can easily find the indian tour packages for these destinations but there are some more places which is also very good for spiritual travelers.  Chitrakoot , Somnath, Dwarika, Puri, Rameswaram, Varanasi and Madurai are some spiritual spots in India.

Allahabad is known as the king of teertha dham (spiritual places) in India. But it is also believed that if you didn’t visit chitrakoot then your teertha dham yatra (spiritual travelling) is incomplete. Chitrakoot stands on the top of spiritual travelling in India. One most interesting thing in chitrakoot is that it has a place named Gupt Godavari.

It’s a kind of Cave where a river named “Godavari” exists in much hidden manner. When you saw this cave from outside, the cave is full of rocks and sands.  The surroundings of this cave is also very much like sandy place. But when you enter into the cave a river originates through which you have to pass. No body knows from where it comes. I truly recommend this place for spiritual tourism.

Puri in Orissa, Varanasi and Somnath is also very great place to visit. One thing that I guarantee you is that after visiting such places of India you really feel very peaceful from inside. If somebody really wants to experience real India along with its culture then must visit these places.

So next time when you book spiritual tour package for India Include these places.

Leaving on a Jet plane !!

New Delhi - Dubai - Istanbul - Paris- London - New York !!!! 28 hours on a jet plane. I am sure you will be Jet lagged.

Try this.

1) Tablets : This is a safe and effective remedy for countering jet lag, in the form of easy-to-take tablets. No-Jet-Lag has no side effects and can be taken with other medicines also. No-Jet-Lag is available at luggage stores, health stores, pharmacies and almost all the international airports.

2) De stress : Before departing, make sure you have all your affairs in order. Ensure you are not stressed-out with excitement or worry, and not tired. Get plenty of exercise in the days prior to departure and try to avoid sickness such as the flu and cold. If you have a cold, flying will probably make it worse - ideally you should delay the trip. Get a good sleep prior to departure.

3) Fly westwards : It may be largely a matter of personal preference, but there is some evidence that flying westwards causes less jet lag than flying eastwards.

4) Drink a lot of water. No alcohol please. It will dehydrate your body.

5) Take a shower during stop over flights at the airport.

6) Do not take sleeping pills...It is harmful.

Experience with the wild cats !!!!

It was a beautiful spring morning in Kaziranga park. I, along with a group of four, headed inside the forest very early in the morning..say around 0530 hrs. This is the perfect time to spot the tigers who normally stays very deep inside the Jungle but comes out to drink water.

We were guided by a forest ranger from the Park itself...He was a jem of a naturalist. As we entered the high thorny grasslands, he asked us to keep silence as he was feeling the presence of a Tiger couple. Even we could get the smell...these gracious cats have a very distinctive odor.

As we neared them, they saw us and was least interested to give us any importance. They were lying on the grass as if they had a hearty meal and resting....It was 0600 hrs and their stomachs were full. My eyed were fixed on the tigers, in fact i failed to remember that i had waited for this moment all through my life...and when i got a chance..i could not click a picture. Sob.. !!!

We were so excited to see the tiger that the other animals looked insignificant. The ranger took us to many locations but the sun already rose and the tigers were back inside the deep forests. Our one of the main motive was to spot the tigers in the park which was indeed very rare in parks as in the Kaziranga. Tiger spotting is easier in Bandavgarh or Rantahmbore but had a hope to spot it in Kaziranga and we managed to do it.
